Papineau Lake Water Quality Monitoring Project
Papineau Lake is a member of the Volunteer Lake Monitoring Program (VLMP) with the Government of Quebec. The Kenauk Institute will periodically take water samples (e.g. secchi readings for water clarity, fecal coliforms, phosphorus, and chlorophyll a) throughout each summer and establish a long term monitoring protocol for water quality with annual comparisons. The goal of this project is to continue the long term monitoring of water quality in Papineau Lake.
