SENIOR RESEARCH INTERNSHIP

Internship Description: The Kenauk Institute Senior Internship Program is an initiative that provides graduate students the opportunity to conduct their graduate degree data collection on the Kenauk property. Senior Interns will have the possibility to continue their original research project that was conducted during their undergraduate Internship Program with the Kenauk Institute.

This is a unique scholarship opportunity for graduate students to have their degree funded while pursuing research on the wide variety of topics possible at Kenauk, such as climate change, forest dynamics, fisheries, hydrology, mammals, birds, and entomology. These Senior Interns will receive a standard graduate student stipend, accommodations while on site at Kenauk during the summers, equipment and supplies for their data collection as well as professional development opportunities such attending and presenting at conferences. Preference will be given to students who have completed the Kenauk Institute internship program. The goal is for these students to leave with an understanding to make informed decisions that incorporate conservation and sustainability.

This program is still under development, stay tuned for more details!
